The Department of Education requires that institutions offering online or distance learning programs outside of their home states must seek authorization to operate from regulatory bodies in those states. Each state has a different set of requirements when it comes to allowing out-of-state colleges and universities to offer online degree programs to its residents. Notre Dame de Namur University complies with such requirements and is working to increase the number of states where we can offer online programs.

While I have always had the courage and passion to take the stand many would or could not, I never felt that I had the credentials to give legitimacy to my positions. My enrollment in the NDNU Diversity Equity and Inclusion Leadership program has changed all of that. This program will provide me with a distinct advantage in my current role as well as in future opportunities. Being a leader in higher education with a DEI lens has expanded the scope of my work to include the DEI values and construct.
